Prior to completing public artworks all artists and commissioning organizations should be aware of the permits required and the regulations for installing public art within the District of Squamish. Zoning, permits, regulations, public safety, and cultural considerations may all be relevant considerations for public artworks depending on the size, location, and nature of the artwork.
