Ann Fu was born and raised in Taipei, Taiwan, and left at 17 to go study in the States. After university, Fu worked exclusively as an architect for a decade; notable projects include Seattle Opera at the Center, the University of Washington Life Sciences Building, F5 HQ tenant improvement, and FareStart restaurant renovation (pro bono). In 2023, she was finally able to start exploring being a full-time artist. Fu currently resides in Vancouver.
