This mural is painted on interior walls of the library. It features a gold and orange phoenix soaring across the library walls, with butterflies streaming from it.

Artist Statement

I created this piece of art work to represent the changes this teen audience will connect with. The butterflies in there are fluttering beauty who have morphed and grown from one point in their lives to the next, along with the phoenix which is a beautiful and powerful symbol of creating oneself, which also brings joy and strength to the viewer.”
