Artist Statement

Zoe Evamy relocated from Arizona to Vancouver BC in 2000 to Art Direct “Gulliver’s Travels” at Mainframe Studios. Drawn by the beauty of the Pacific Northwest Coast during a solo trip to Haida Gwaii, Zoe found endless inspiration in British Columbia. Throughout her animation career, Zoe’s commitment to painting from nature, particularly in watercolour, has remained constant. Her paintings capture the evolving landscape of Squamish and the Sea to Sky area against the backdrop of ancient Coast Mountains and temperate rainforests. Zoe is an active member of the Federation of Canadian Artists and an associate member of Artists for Conservation, showcasing her work in national juried shows.

Toby Jaxon is a fine art painter who specializes in creating dynamic and thought-provoking artwork. With each painting, she aims to evoke emotions and inspire the viewer. Her work is a reflection of her inner-most thoughts and feelings, and she strives to create pieces that are both visually appealing and intellectually stimulating.
